Wired unclad basalt mats


Wired unclad basalt mats are made on the basis of thin basalt fiber (TBF) canvases. Basalt canvases are sewn with the longitudinal direction stitches of glass or basalt roving. Basalt wired mats are made without any binder, which makes them environmentally friendly. Basalt wired mats have excellent thermal insulation and sound insulation properties, they are non-flammable, vapor-permeable, fire-resistant and fireproof.

Application area:

  • thermal and acoustic insulation of floors, ceilings between the joists;
  • acoustic insulation of lofts, attics, ceilings and intermediate floors;
  • thermal insulation of high-temperature furnaces, pipelines, boilers, water heaters;
  • fire protection of building structures;
  • thermal insulation in shipbuilding, water parks, swimming pools, saunas;
  • thermal insulation of tanks for liquids transportation;
  • thermal insulation at nuclear and thermal power stations (does not accumulate radiation).
